Good day and God's Blessings to you all!
I want to start by saying "Thank you" for all prayers, welcome home sentiments, and warm greetings upon returning from Balad. I apologize because this is late in coming. My brother and I returned safe and sound to the arms of our families, brothers, and fellow guardsman back in July. Getting back home after being in a place like Iraq, even for a relatively short time, makes me appreciate and respect what we as Americans are blessed with. I am glad to be home! Those who are still over there; Iraq, Afghanistan, and parts-unknown, still need the protection only the Lord can provide. Keep praying.
Like a dust devil on the open plains of Colorado, life has been a whirlwind since returning home. Over the past couple weeks, Ricci and I found a house and the offer has been excepted. We shall soon be watching the hunting Hawks and loping Horses on our 35-acres of the American Dream. I will post pictures in the short future. Anyone know of anyone looking to rent a condo in Colorado?
I want to say a very gracious "Thank you" to my brothers, my sister, my in-laws, and especially mom & dad for warmly welcoming Ricci and Dani into the family and for being such kind hosts during our visit to Minnesota. Their is still a comfort I feel, like know where else, when I return HOME.
